The Imbil Easter Carnival

Easter Events Sunshine Coast wouldn’t be complete without the annual Imbil Easter Carnival. Packed with entertainment, starting from Good Friday and running through Easter Sunday, this annual event is an hour’s drive away from several of our Easter holiday accommodation Sunshine Coast wide and has become a highlight of Easter on the Sunshine Coast. The Imbil Easter Carnival kicks off with ‘Dinner Under the Stars’, a unique dining experience located on the tracks of the old Imbil railway. Experience the open-air atmosphere under a giant Big Top Marquee for a night of delicious food and entertainment. Bookings are essential for this event and it is recommended you book early as tickets sell out fast. Festivities continue into the weekend with a host of fun entertainment. On Saturday, a new Easter Fun Run kicks off the day along the new Imbil – Brooloo Rail trail. The run is for all fitness levels and is also a nice country stroll for families and friends. Registrations are mandatory but the Fun Run is free of charge. Other great Saturday events include poetry by the Bush Poets, a Food and Artisan Alley, market stalls, a thong throwing challenge, a kid’s zone, and the famous Yabba Regatta among many more. As the festivities wind down, the Imbil Market and a Pop-Up Art Market end the weekend on the Sunday.

The Ocean Street World festival is on again this Easter Sunday Sunshine Coast and is one of the largest festivals on the Sunshine Coast. Thousands flock to the Ocean Street precinct in Maroochydore for a fun, family filled day of music, dance, cultural displays, art, food and workshops. The Ocean Street World Festival 2020 brings together the diverse talent from performers and artists from all over the world in a vibrant community celebration.
