Check In QLD App

Check In QLD App

From 9 July 2021, the Check In QLD app is now mandatory for several new sectors, including short-term residential facilities such as hotels, boarding houses, and short-term holiday rentals. At Prestige Holiday Homes we are committed to keeping our visitors safe. Due to this, we ask our customers to please use the Check In app upon renting any of our holiday homes or holiday apartments.

How to Check in & Use the App

The Check In app is available on Google Play and the App Store, making it compatible with Apple and Android products. After downloading the app, you will be required to enter your full name, phone number and email address. At participating venues, open the app, select ‘Check In Now’ and hover your smartphone over the displayed QR code.

Your details will remain pre-filled for a faster check in, however, you can add additional people.

Please let us know If you have any issues using the app or have any questions.

How long is my information stored?

The Check In app stores your information, along with the date and entry time of the venue you visited, for 56 days to assist with contact tracing, if required.

What if I don’t want to use the app?

Using the Check In QLD app is optional for customers, however, if you don’t use the app you still need to provide your contact information to businesses and venues.

Should I still use the COVIDSafe app?

The Check In QLD app compliments the COVIDSafe app so it is recommended you still use it. The Check In QLD app stores your information for contact tracing in smaller venues, however, the COVIDSafe app is used for broader venues such as parks, open spaces and public transport.
